Welcome to Makeforme ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Makeforme platform — including our website at makeforme.in and any related applications or services — you ("user", "creator", "buyer") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Makeforme. Please read them carefully.

You must be at least 18 years old to register or use Makeforme. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 are not permitted to use the platform.

Makeforme is currently intended for individuals based in India. Use of the platform from outside India is at your own risk and we make no representation that our services comply with the laws of other jurisdictions.

To access most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at abhijithb.online@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.

As a creator using Makeforme to sell products, you agree to:

• List only products that you own, have the right to sell, and that accurately match your descriptions and photos.
• Set fair and accurate prices, including any applicable taxes.
• Fulfil orders promptly and communicate shipping timelines clearly to buyers.
• Resolve disputes and handle returns, refunds, and cancellations in good faith.
• Not list counterfeit, illegal, prohibited, or harmful products.
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws, including consumer protection laws and GST obligations where applicable.

Makeforme is a marketplace platform. We are not party to any transaction between creators and buyers, and creators are solely responsible for the products they sell and the orders they fulfil.

As a buyer on Makeforme, you agree to:

• Provide a complete and accurate delivery address when placing orders.
• Make genuine purchases only — do not place fake, test, or fraudulent orders.
• Contact the creator directly for any post-purchase issues such as returns or replacements.

Trial period: New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

Platform subscription: After the trial period ends, continued use of the platform requires a small subscription fee. Details of current pricing are available on our Pricing page. We will notify you before any charges apply.

Zero commission: Makeforme charges absolutely 0% commission on individual orders. Payments from buyers go directly to you.

All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We are not responsible for any failures, delays, or errors caused by the payment processor.

You must not use Makeforme to:

• Commit fraud, impersonation, or deception of any kind.
• List or sell counterfeit goods, stolen property, weapons, drugs, or any other illegal items.
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users.
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, or platform metrics artificially.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the platform's technology.
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

All content you upload to Makeforme — including product photos, descriptions, and store branding — remains your intellectual property. By uploading content, you grant Makeforme a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

Makeforme's own branding, logo, software, and platform design are the sole property of Makeforme and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.

Makeforme integrates with third-party services including payment gateways and shipping providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Makeforme is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or errors of any third-party service provider.

Makeforme is an intermediary marketplace platform as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not manufacture, stock, inspect, or ship any products listed by creators.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makeforme shall not be liable for:

• Disputes between buyers and sellers regarding product quality, delivery, or refunds.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.
• Interruptions, downtime, or data loss due to technical issues beyond our reasonable control.

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the platform, other users, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your store and product listings will be removed. Outstanding orders must still be fulfilled or resolved in good faith.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kerala, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, notify you by email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
